At Pals we operate an inclusion and equality policy and ensure that all children have access to nursery places and services irrespective of their gender, race, disability, religion, belief or sexual orientation of parents.

We operate a free waiting list, and parents are encouraged to book early as we tend to have long waiting lists. While we do not charge a deposit for funded hours there is a non refundable registration fee of £15 (for non funded hours) payable when you accept a place. Our waiting list is operated on a first come first served basis with the following exceptions:

·    Children already in attendance who wish to increase their sessions will be given    priority although we require parents to notify us in advance of any such wishes

·    Siblings of current children

·   Priority may be given to older children due to start school with no pre-school  experience or children  with specific urgent needs

Prior to a child starting at Pals the parent or carer must have:

·    Completed a registration form signing our terms and conditions within this.

·     Provided us with a copy of the child’s birth certificate.

·     Prior to a child receiving Government funding a parent must have completed a Parental Contract stating the hours your child attends. This is an agreement to allow us to claim the government funded place.

We offer 2 year old funding, the Universal 15 hours and 4 hours of extended entitlement per week. Please note that the extended entitlement is not universal.

All our funded sessions are in line with Government guidelines and Local Authority requirements. When you register your child for their funded place we will discuss your needs, and as far as possible accommodate your wishes. Where possible we will try to facilitate changes to hours if required but please note we are usually full and we therefore cannot guarantee this flexibility. Any such request should be made a term in advance where possible

All places are subject to our notice period of 6 academic weeks. Failure to give such notice would result in the need for you to pay fees in lieu of notice.

All settings registered to accept government funding must have a free offer for 2, 3 and 4 year olds.
