Serena Brock- Co Owner

Pals at Christ Church is a family run pre-school. Serena has an NVQ Level 3 in childcare and is ICSA AND ISOH qualified. Serena is also safeguard lead at the setting.

Paul Brock Co Owner

Paul Brock is Serena's son who deals with all the accounts including invoicing, staff pay and the website. Together they also co-own Beckenham Montessori Pre-school at Clare House Primary School and West Wickham Montessori Pre-school in West Wickham.

Elizabeth Wycherley- Manager

On September 2023, Elizabeth became our manager. She possesses a Bachelor's degree in childcare and an early years professional status qualification. She has over 30 years of education experience in many different pre schools, including acting as a training manager and development coordinator in her previous setting. She was also the mentor and assessor at the university of Brighton for 7 years. Furthermore, she has a level 3 qualification in Forest school teaching.

Aimee Haddock - Deputy Manager

Aimee has an NVQ Level 3 childcare qualification. We welcomed her from our sister site Beckenham Montessori Pre-school in September 22, where she worked for 13 years. She also acted as a deputy manager at the Beckenham Pre school. Aimee has two grown up children. Along with Serena, Aimee is also safeguard lead at the setting.

Sarah Walby - Leading Nursery Practitioner

Sarah is our leading nursery practitioner and our lead SENCO at all of our settings. Sarah is degree qualified, holding Early Years Professional Status and has worked with children in a variety of roles since 2006 including being Manager of a Day Nursery. We are very pleased that she joined our team in September 2019. She has two children of her own.

Linda Miller- Nursery Practitioner

Linda joined PALS in the spring of 2023. Linda holds a level 4 childcare education with many years experience in the sector. 

 

Janet Holloway Nursery Practitioner

Janet has worked at Pals for 8 years and holds a level 3 in Childrens' Care, Learning and Development. She previously worked within a pre-school setting for 5 years before moving on to work with children with additional needs. She has one son.

Lara Kelly Nursery Practitioner

Lara holds a Children and Young People's Workforce Level 3 qualification. She has worked at Pals for over 11 years and has over 30 years experience working with children of varying ages in both pre-school and nannying roles. She has a teenage son.

Beata Biernat-Surowiec- Nursery Practitioner

We welcomed Beata in the spring of 2023. Beata holds a childcare level 3 qualification with many years experience in childcare.

Liz Sykes- Pre-school Assistant

Liz has worked at PALS for 8 years. Having previously worked for several years in a voluntary capacity with children and families she is now thoroughly enjoying working within a pre-school environment. Liz has two grown up daughters.

Ashley Perrins - Pre-school Assistant

Ashley has been part of the team for three and a half years and was part way through an introduction to Early Years Working course when Lockdown got in the way. She has previously assisted with a local youth group and has a natural flair for working within the Early Years Sector, Ashley has two young boys of her own.

 

Rita Gaston- Pre-school Assistant

Rita has previous experience working with someone with additional needs, and we are very pleased to welcome her from our sister site Beckenham Montessori Pre-school, Rita has three grown up daughters and is also a grandmother.
